Former Doctor Who star Noel Clarke joins Star Trek 2

Former Doctor Who actor Noel Clarke has joined the cast of the sequel to Star Trek.
The actor is the latest newcomer to the franchise, following Alice Eve and Peter Weller into J J Abrams follow up to his hit reboot of the Trekkie series.
Clarke is rumoured to be playing “a family man with a wife and young daughter” but his actual role has not been revealed, and is being kept secret.
Carlos star Edgar Ramirez has been rumoured to be joining the cast as the villain of the film according to reports.
The film is due for release on 17th May 2013 and will be converted to 3D in cinemas.
