Gerard Butler will romance three Hollywood heavyweights in his new film - Catherine Zeta-Jones, Uma Thurman and Jessica Biel.

The 41-year-old will star as a European footballer in Playing The Field opposite Jessica, who will play his estranged wife, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Butler's character moves to the States to make amends with his partner but ends up being charmed by other women, including a sexy newsreader, played by Catherine and a neighbour's wife, played by Uma.

The movie, which will be directed by Gabriele Muccino, centres around Gerard's character, who is also a troubled father.
