James McAvoy James McAvoy has revealed that his X-Men character doesn't see much fight action in the new film.
The 31-year-old Atonement star plays a young Charles “Professor X” Xavier in the new prequel movie X-Men: First Class, which is set for release in June.
But he admitted that his character was keen to avoid punch-ups and dodges most of the big fight scenes in the upcoming flick.
According to UK newspaper the Daily Record, McAvoy said: "Professor X is not too combat-savvy in this film, it has to be said. He doesn't do too much; he's sort of a consultant with the combat guys.”
He added: "But he does get involved in a few little bits of fisticuffs. I wouldn't say that he comes out well, but I wouldn't say that he gets his a*** kicked either."
