Gemma Arterton to star in new Hansel And Gretel movie

Gemma Arterton Gemma Arterton has signed up to star as Gretel in Paramount's Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters, according to reports.
The 24-year-old actress will star opposite Jeremy Renner, who will play Hansel, in the new movie by Dead Snow director Tommy Wirkola.
According to Variety, the film is a new take on the classic Brothers Grimm fairy-tale and is set 15 years after the siblings killed the witch who kidnapped them. Now grown-up, the pair work as witch-hunting bounty hunters.
The movie is due to start shooting in March, and has had to be scheduled around Renner's busy work schedule, as he is also filming Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and The Avengers.
