True Legend

From bust ups with reporters to full blown fist fights in night clubs over spilt drinks, they always find a way to cause a bit of a stir. To celebrate the release of the new martial arts epic True Legend on the 24^th of September we have put together a list of the best celebrity fights over the last few years. 

1. Bjork vs. Reporter
Upon arrival at Bangkok airport in 2006 Bjork attacked reported Julie Kaufman. Bjork later released a statement stating her reason for the attack was that she was asking her son, Sindri, question like "It must be hard to be the son of a pop star." Bjork apologised for the attack and Kaufman declined to press charges.

2. Axl Rose vs Tommy Hilfiger
 
In 2006 Hilfiger and Rose had a run in at the Plumm nightclub in New York city. Trouble allegedly broke out after Rose moved a drink belonging to Hilfiger’s girlfriend. Rose claims that he was preventing it from being spilt. Already enraged by the size of Rose’s entourage, Hilfiger swung several punches hinting Rose in the face and arm before being dragged away by his own bodyguards.

3. Bill Murray vs. Chevy Chase
 
Chevvy Chase and Bill Murray never actually worked together, Chase was replaced by Murray on Saturday Night Live. It was when Chase came back to show for a guest appearance that it all kicked off. Just before the episode aired Murray pointed out how hated Chase was by anyone and everyone. In response Chase compared Murray’s acne-pocked skin to the surface of the moon. The final straw was Murray saying 'Why don't you f*** your wife once in a while? She needs it.
None of the eye witnesses can remember who threw the first punch but many say that it got quite messy. Ever the professionals the both went on stage moments later.

4. Tommy Lee vs. Kid Rock
 
In 2007 and the MTV Video Music Awards Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, both old flames of Pamela Anderson came to logger heads. It isn’t entirely clear what happened although eyewitnesses say that after exchanging words Rock slapped the drummer and before Lee could fight back was struck in the face again by the singer. They were both escorted of the premises by security and detained.

5. Sinéad O'Connor vs. Prince
 
A few years ago when O’Connor covered Prince’s Nothing Compares 2 you, Prince was enraged by O’Connor’s behaviour in public while promoting his song. She was later quoted as saying "He invited me to his house in Los Angeles and started to give out to me for swearing in interviews. When I told him to go [bleep] himself he got very upset and became quite threatening, physically. I ended up having to escape." But, objected the paper, "he's such a small guy." Replied O'Connor: "He can pack a punch. A few blows were exchanged.”
 
6. JK vs. Reporter
 
Although Most of our videos in this Top 10 are celebs fighting other people, this is actually the revenge of the Reporter.  After the premier of Star Wars, the reporter kicks JK’s Bentley as he is going to leave. The enraged JK get slower more and more frustrated as the reporter lies about the incident. What made the reporter think that head butting the singer was the best course of action, who knows but it does make for a good watch.

7. Jon Lovitz vs. Andy Dick
 
The initial conflict between Lovitz and Dick started with the death/suicide of Lovitz good friend Phil Hartman. Lovitz blamed Dick for giving Hartmans wife cocaine and party after she had been clean for 10 years. Lovitz believes that this event was the catalyst for everything that followed. After a couple of run-ins the two met in 2007 at the Laugh Factory, L.A. The two exchanged words and after Dick refused to apologise for his actions and snide comments of the past, Lovitz reportedly threw him through a nearby table. Reports of the event differ however this was Lovitz take on the situation.

8. Paris Hilton vs. Shanna Moakler
 
The feud kicked off after Paris Hilton was supposedly spotted in a New York club making out with Moakler' estranged husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Hilton says that she was in fact talking to ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos when Moakler stormed over, punched Hilton in the jaw and shouted at her.
Moakler claims that Niarchos then pushed her down the stairs, bent her wrist back and poured a drink over her head. Moakler later returned with Police but no further action was taken.

9. Mick Jagger vs. Charlie Watts
 
No your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you this is a fight between Jagger and Watts not Jagger and Richards. Apparently in the early hours of a winter morning in Amsterdam 1984, Jagger called Watts to wake him up asking for “his drummer” to come and join him and Richards. Upon hearing this, Watts got up, got dressed into fine cut suit, shiny shoes, and silk tie and went down stairs to Jagger’s room. When Jagger opened the door, Watts, in Richards words “dished him out a great f***ing right hook." Before leaving Watts said "Don't ever call me 'your drummer' again, You're my fucking singer."

10. Zinedine Zidane vs Marco Materazzi
 
The Famous headbutt that has gone down in history and marked Zindane’s career will always be remember as being the biggest event of the 2006 world cup. It was not revealed until several months after what provoked the French player into this act of violence. Materazzi later told papers that there was anexchange between the two during the game, starting with an arguement about shirt pulling. Zindane reportedly said "If you want my shirt that badly I'll give it to you at the end of the match". Materazzi in retaliation said “I'd prefer your sl*t of a sister”. Zindane received a red car for his actions and Italy went onto to win the game and the competition on penalties.
