Enrique Iglesias - Do You Know

Do you remember the glory days of Hispanic-pop sensation Mr. Enrique Iglesias? Remember when he was every little girls “Hero”? How long ago was it? 2 years? 3? 4? Try 5? More?

His new release is Enrique through and through. It’s latin, it’s the product of real talent and it’s hot property. However, I do feel like Enrique is somewhat trapped in a time warp. He hasn’t really evolved or tried anything new. He’s just the same old Enrique.

 I do also have an issue with the ping-pong thing. It’s as if his relationship with Anna Kournikova has gone to his head. Despite the ping-pong balls the song exposes how little balls the Spaniard actually has. He’s not experimental. Everything he’s doing has been down before. He needs to put his neck on the line.

Despite it’s faults, the song is more good than bad. I just think it would be more suited to the music scene of five years ago than presently. Otherwise Enrique has written a pretty decent song.
