BBC Radio 1’s Ibiza Weekend
Annie Mac Kicking off the weekend on Friday 6th August at 7pm, BBC Radio 1 returns to Ibiza Rocks hotel for a huge free outdoor party hosted by Annie Mac and Pete Tong. The three hour live broadcast is guaranteed to be an unmissable affair with big special guests set to perform including: Mark Ronson & The Business INTL, Tinchy Stryder, Swedish House Mafia , Chase & Status and Aeroplane.
The evening doesn’t slow down for listeners when between 11pm-1am there are some exclusive recorded mixes from Grandmaster Flash and others taken from Come Together at Space. The night is then rounded off in style with a special extended Essential Mix (3am-5am) which was recorded earlier that week from Cocoon at Amnesia featuring DJ’s Andre Galluzzi and Sven Vath.
The Ibiza weekend keeps on going on Saturday with Trevor Nelson & Judge Jules broadcasting their show's live from the Island warming up for the weekends spectacular finale at Cream at Privilege with a five hour special featuring sets from Pete Tong, Underworld, Annie Mac, Above & Beyond plus a massive bill on the night that includes Japanese Popstars and the BBC Radio 1 dance fraternity - Judge Jules, Zane Lowe, Kissy Sell Out, Jaguar Skills, Alex Metric, Jaymo & Andy George and Kutski.
