Sonique Back In The Studio After Being Given The All-Clear
Sonique Sonique, 41, was diagnosed with the illness in May 2009 and since then, she has undergone several operations, as well as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
She has now said: "It's all good and they've given me the thumbs-up and all of that, so I'm just trying not to hang on to that whole thing now.
"I'm trying to just distance myself away from the whole experience as much as possible. I got to the point where after I'd had the operations and they'd cut it all out, I started changing.
"People kept saying: 'You've got cancer.' And I kept saying: 'No, I'm having chemotherapy. It's a big difference.
"It's gone.' Rather than thinking I'm on the road to recovery now, I've recovered and it's time to pick up the pieces and move on and forget about that place. You just have to think positive."
