The 'Now You're Gone' hitmaker's manager, Scott Simons, has described the allegations as "totally untrue".

On Saturday (11.12.10) the nightclub where the incident took place, Kitty's apologised to fans on the star's behalf, saying: "We were totally embarrassed by his conduct."

A fan was quoted by Scotland's Daily Record newspaper saying she had encountered the star in the early hours of Friday (10.12.10) morning and was appalled at his behaviour.

Ashley Barr, 18, said: "I was embarrassed and degraded. He was a total pig. I was a fan, but now I wouldn't open the curtains if he was playing in my back garden."
