Tamara Ecclestone’s tough love
Tamara Ecclestone found it “harder” to get over her ex-boyfriend cheating on her because he was engaging in a sexual act with a transsexual.
The 28-year-old socialite – the daughter of Formula 1 supremo and billionaire Bernie Ecclestone – was particularly “mortified” for her parents because she watched the X-rated video – which saw her former lover Omar Khyami taking part in a sex act – with her mother and father.
She said: “It was, like, Omar engaged in a sexual act with a transsexual. So that made the betrayal harder to deal with. Worse than a regular betrayal.
“He was obviously so in denial about it. I don’t want anyone else to go through what I went through, watching that tape with my parents and being hurt like he hurt me.
“It was a really grim time. I’ve been mortified for my parents. They were both there and we looked on a laptop.”
The brunette beauty insists she “hardly knew” the stockbroker during their three-and-a-half years together and while she still finds it hard to accept what he did, Tamara is hoping there is a man out there for her.
She added to Stella magazine: “I think it was better to find out now rather than a few years down the road when we had children. I spent three-and-a-half years with someone and felt like I hardly knew him at all.
“I still believe there is somewhere out there. I do believe in happy-ever-after.”
