Steve Martin becomes a dad for first time at 67
Steve Martin has become a father for the first time at the ripe age of sixty seven.
Extraordinarily, US reports tell us that the ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ and ‘Father of The Bride’ star’s baby was born back in December but he and his wife – writer Anne Stringfield, have somehow managed to keep the whole event hush hush up until this point.
Texan Steve is known to be a very private person, indeed when he and Anne tied the knot back in 2007 invited guests thought they were en-route to a party, not a wedding bash and guests including fellow thespians Diane Keaton and Tom Hanks must have been gobsmacked on arrival.
The New York Post has been informed via a source that: “They’ve had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows. Steve’s very private. They are thrilled. They worked hard to have the baby.”
