Max George says Lindsay Lohan fight was blown out of proportion
Lindsay Lohan’s pal Max George has defended the actress insisting the nightclub fight on Thursday was blown out of proportion.
Max and his fellow The Wanted band mates were partying with Lohan when she allegedly attacked a reveller in New York’s Club Avenue.
Police were called to the scene and immediately arrested the 26-year-old, but Max feels the authorities overreacted.
“We were just out and there was a bit of trouble with someone in the club. But it got blown out of proportion to be honest.” He told listeners on Jojo Wright’s radio show in LA on Friday night.
The 24-year-old singer also blasted reports that he was the reason behind the altercation, dismissing claims the actress raged at Tiffany Mitchell when she started flirting with him.
George added, “It wasn’t me. I didn’t instigate anything. It was nothing to do with me.”
