Kim Kardashian’s Bahrain visit causes mayhem

It seems Kim Kardashian’s visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain on Saturday caused a bit of a stir.

The reality TV star, who is dating rapper Kanye West, was in town to open a new branch of dessert shop Millions of Mikshaes, but her planned visit was met by protesters after Islamist MPs failed to block her trip.

More than 50 demonstrators gathered outside a shopping center near the capital of Manama to picket her presence.

Riot police were called in to contain the situation and cleared the angry mob before Kim’s arrival.

However, it seems the incident did not bother Kim after the 32-year-old posted on twitter, “Thanks Sheikh Khalifa for your amazing hospitality. I’m in love with The Kingdom of Bahrain”.
