Jessica Simpson smitten with fiance
Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson only had eyes for each other on a recent night out.
The couple – whose first child Maxwell was born in May – joined a group of 20 to celebrate a friend’s birthday at a restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday (22.09.12) but those at the eatery said the pair were spent most of the evening whispering to each other.
A source told Us Weekly: “They were whispering into each other’s ears and smiling and laughing a lot. They spent the majority of the evening engaged in each other’s company.”
Jessica recently revealed she is loving motherhood, calling it a “dream”.
She said: “Motherhood is a dream. It really is absolutely amazing. [Maxwell] had her first flight recently. Did not sleep! She didn’t cry. She just wanted to babble.”
One reason why Jessica is finding first time motherhood so easy is because she believes her fiance Eric is the “best dad in the world” so she can always turn to him for help and advice.
She explained: “People call him the best dad in the world. Even my dad calls him that! He can do everything. He can change every diaper . . . he’s just a very peaceful person.”
