Liam Payne has parted ways with girlfriend Danielle Peazer due to pressure on her from online trolls.
Unusual as it may seem, we have a relationship story about One Direction that does not centre on mother-lover Harry Styles.
It seems that thanks to pressure from Twitter trolls, Liam Payne and his girlfriend Danielle Peazer have parted ways after a two year relationship.
The couple had been rumoured to be talking of marriage just a few months ago, but have now split claiming it to be due to their careers keeping them apart despite just moving in with each other.
A source told The Sun, “It was getting impossible to keep it going. They were apart so much and everything that was being said to Danielle on Twitter was getting to her,” the insider said.
“They both still care for each other and will remain friends, but it all just got too much.”
Other reports have suggested a greater factor in the split came from the constant harassment Danielle received from online trolls and in the street when people would stop her in the street or even chase her.
An insider explained, “Danielle’s got over a million followers on Twitter, it’s just crazy,” he said. “She’s been getting stopped in the street. She got chased by some girl in the park the other day, which is scary.”
They added that Danielle is “not the most confident person in the world” and was badly affected by some of the threats she received online.
