Madonna's Stalker back in custody
Madonna The man previously convicted of stalking Madonna, as well as being involved in the terrorising of other celebrities, has been put back in police custody after escaping a mental institute last week.
Robert Dewey Hoskins was given a ten year prison sentence in 1996 after being caught on Madonna’s property threatening to slit the singer’s throat.
The sentence came to an end in 2006, but he was arrested again the same year for vandalism charges and was forced to enrol in the Metropolitan State Hospital in Norwalk.
A major manhunt was launched when he escaped from the centre earlier in the month and was caught on Friday.
Hoskins was reported to also have made threats against Halle Berry, with her request to move to France being thought to have been provoked by his escape.
