Russell Brand halts comedy show for migraine tablets

Russell Brand was forced to pause a stand-up show to take medication for a migraine.
The funnyman, who recently finalised his divorce from Katy Perry, needed to stop a live performance to go to the side of stage and take some headache pills.
Brand stopped partway through his warmup show at Hollywood’s Comedy Sportz Theatre and told the 80 strong audience, “I have a terrible pain. I need pain killers. Sorry about this. I feel nauseous now. I feel sick.”
Coming back to the stage he said, ‘I think I’m such a professional showman this is beyond ridiculous stopping to take medication.”
