Actress Emma Watson might have been dressed head to toe in designer clothes like Oscar de la Renta and Chanel while gracing the red carpet - but she admits she is hopeless when it comes to styling herself.

Speaking to French Elle magazine the face of Lancome said: "My problem is that I am a little bit boring. I don't wear designer bags or big sunglasses.

The 21-year-old admitted: "When I don't have to play Emma Watson in public, I'd rather not put myself  'out there,' I have to be more careful with my look in my everyday life.”

Nobody can deny the ‘Harry Potter’ star is daring despite her “boring” style - after she stunned fans in 2010 when she got rid of her locks and debuted a chic pixie cut.

She previously said: "I knew it would be kind of a shock, but I had no idea that it would be that big.

"Like everyone would make this much fuss over it."
