Halle puts her creative skills in action.

Actress Halle Berry is set to launch her own footwear range - after teaming up with German label Deichmann.

Despite the former fashion model needing counselling alongside her ex boyfriend Gabriel Aubry and their daughter Nahla - after allegations of child endangerment - she is focusing her energy on launching her own shoe range.

OK! magazine report the 45-year-old star is working with Europe's biggest shoe retailer, to design 5th Avenue By Halle Berry.

The collection is to be launched March next month and includes more than 40 limited edition pairs.

But the ‘X-Men' star may find it a tad difficult to strut in her new footwear range for her promotional ads - after she recently injured her foot and has been spotted wearing a cast on her right leg and walking with the help of crutches.

Other celebrities that have designed shoes for Deichmann include Cindy Crawford and girl group Sugababes.
