Mel B considering move to Australia
Mel B The former Spice Girls singer "fell in love" with the country following her recent stint staying in Sydney while working as a judge on 'The X Factor' and now that she is selling her Los Angeles home, she and husband Stephen Belafonte are thinking of permanently relocating Down Under with their children.
Her manager Sean Anderson confirmed to Australia's Courier Mail newspaper: "Yes, they have their LA property on the market.
"They are looking at houses in Los Angeles, but are also considering Australia. Mel and her family all fell in love with Australia and the Aussie way of life."
For most of the last year, Mel - who has four-month-old baby Madison with Stephen and two daughters, Phoenix, 12, and Angel, four, from previous relationships - and her family were renting an $8 million penthouse in the Rose Bay area of Sydney, which boasted views of the Opera House.
Mel is reportedly planning to compete on the next series of Australia's 'Dancing with the Stars', a show she came second in in 2007 in the US.
The 'Wannabe' singer has lived in Los Angeles for eight years but recently admitted she would consider returning to her native UK if she was offered a good career opportunity.
She said: "I love the UK. If I thought there was a good enough job offer, then of course I'd come back. But, you know, I love the UK, I love visiting - I was born and bred in Leeds. But I've been living in the States for eight years now."
