Heidi Range says split with fiance left her torn apart
Heidi Range Singer, Heidi Range has revealed being a contestant on Dancing On Ice has helped her cope with her split from fiance Dave Berry, insisting she has "a new lease of life" - after being so focused on the competition.
The Sugababes star accepted Dave’s proposal on New Year's Eve back in December 2009 and they planned to exchange vows in October 2011 - but she revealed in December that year they had secretly split.
The blonde beauty admits the split from her partner of eight years has been difficult, and she is thankful to have been given the chance to partake on the skating show to take her mind off her heartbreak.
She told the Sunday Mirror: "The end of last year was awful. We're still great friends and I saw him last week... but it's hard. My life's been turned upside down and I don't know what is going to happen.
"Dancing On Ice has got me through it. It's given me a new lease of life.”
