Heidi Klum and Seal confirm their separation
Heidi Klum Soul singer, Seal and supermodel, Heidi Klum are parting ways, the reason being they have “grown apart” - after being married for seven years.
Confirming the split Us Weekly report In a joint statement to Us Weekly they state: "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."
The couple have three children together Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2, also Heidi’s 7-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Leni, whom Seal adopted in 2009.
The pair were reported to be heading for a divorce on Saturday, (21.01.12) and that Heidi would be filing the papers citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split.
