Avril Lavigne It seems that singer, Avril Lavigne and TV personality, Brody Jenner have parted ways.
A source confirms to E! News that the rocker and Kim Kardashian’s half brother have split - after dating for almost two years.
The pair - who have matching tattoos of each other’s names - called it quits last week - after reportedly clashed over how to balance their relationship with their individual career pursuits.
An insider told Us Weekly:"Every time he wanted to come back and take meetings to get his career back in order, she would make him go to Asia and Europe."
Avril - who released her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, in March 2011, and launched her own clothing line, Abbey Dawn - seems career driven but former 'Hills' star Brody felt he could not pursue his career because of Avril.
The singer reportedly did not let the Brody accept a number of TV offers he received.
A source revealed: "He hasn't worked and he wants to. They were both unhappy because he wants to have his career, she wants him to stay with her.”
