Nick Cannon praises wife Mariah Carey
Nick Cannon Singer, Nick Cannon made his first public appearance since being hospitalised for kidney failure, taking the stage at Saturday’s, (14.01.12) BET Honors in Washington D.C.
People magazine reports holding 8-month-old son Moroccan in a matching mini tux, Nick presented his wife, Mariah Carey, with an award and said she was his “hero” through his health ordeal.
He said: "When times are hard, you guys don't see her at 3 o'clock in the morning, getting up in the middle of the night, fixing me soup when my kidneys ain't acting right. Mariah Carey does that.
"It is truly, truly a blessing to be here tonight, and I am humbled and in awe of everyone's presence, but mostly my hero right there."
With a smile a tear-eyed Mariah responded by also praising her husband saying: "To my incredible husband who [has been] out of the hospital two days – look at him all strong and healthy and big and too buff for the tux – it's incredible."
