Ricky Gervais says Kim Kardashian is trashier version of Kate Middleton
Kim Kardashian Acid-tongued comedian, Ricky Gervais, could not help but insult reality star, Kim Kardashian by comparing her to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.
Similar to last year, in an opening monologue at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, (15.01.12) in Beverly Hills, the British star found a chance to mock a few celebrities.
Ricky - who began his speech - by referring to the most talked-about women of 2011 said: "The Golden Globes are just like the Oscars but without all that esteem.
"The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton," he cracked as the audience burst out with laughter. "A bit louder. A bit trashier. A bit drunker and more easily bought -- allegedly!"
Speaking of actor, Eddie Murphy - who famously accepted and then decided against hosting the upcoming Oscars he continued: "Who needs the Oscars? Not me.
“And not Eddie Murphy. He walked out on that.
"But when the man who said yes to Norbit says no to you..."
