Gwyneth Paltrow gets a tongue lashing from her 7 year old daughter
Gwyneth Paltrow It seems that even Hollywood stars can still be pulled down a peg or two, especially by their children.
Gwyneth Paltrow took a telling off from seven year old Apple following the stars loss of patience during an argument about Harry Potter.
Gwyneth had been bathing Apple and her brother Moses after a long day at a friend’s party and became frustrated with her daughter when she wouldn’t get a towel after being frightened by a scene from Harry Potter.
Talking on TV special Out Of Character, the star said"She was worried that this image that she had seen in Harry Potter was gonna be in the room. I said, 'But I'm in the room. Just turn around and hand me the towel.'
"She was like, 'I can't do it.' And finally I was just like, 'Apple, hand me the towel, seriously!' And she was like, 'I am seven years old, I'm a child and you need to respect my fears... I am right to feel this way.'
"And then she said, 'And by the way, you told me three months ago you were gonna work on yourself and your patience."
Well, at least it seems that a) Hollywood stars and their families are no different to the rest of us, and b) children always deliver the best put-downs. Take note Simon Cowell.
