Nick Cannon has been released from a Los Angeles hospital - after being admitted for mild kidney failure.

The “America’s Got Talent” host required specialist help to get his kidneys back in working order and his representative confirms he “was released over the weekend to be with his family”.

The statement continues: “He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers.”

Nick - who underwent surgery on Friday, (06.01.12) several days after he fell ill in Aspen, Colorado while holidaying with wife, singer Mariah Carey and their kids - is back on the mend.

Luckily, Nick’s condition did improve following an operation - after he was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital.

The comedian can get back to business as usual and return to his live morning radio show broadcast ‘Rollin’ with Nick Cannon’ on 92.3 NOW FM on January 17.”
