Christina Aguilera Christina Aguilera has said she is "happy" with her current look.
The 31-year-old singer has come under fire for her plump figure, but doesn't care what people say because both she and her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, are perfectly happy with her look.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday (07.01.12) promoting 'The Voice' - which will return to NBC for a second season this year - said: "I have a boyfriend that loves my body. I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters.
"Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny. As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need."
'The Voice' mentor added that being confident in herself has been key to her success, and she hopes to be a strong figure for the girls she mentors on the talent show, where judges have to pick contestants without seeing them.
She added: "You have got to be a strong, powerful, very confident woman. Being in a position to coach these young women, I am happy to be able to share that with them and share my highs and lows. Being on the show, it's a very good outlet."
