Charlie Sheen donates $25,000 to tornado relief charity

Sheen has been donating $25,000 to an Alabama tornado relief agency to help restore the state which was virtually destroyed by winds and rain in April last year that killed nearly 300 people.
She played on his obsession with torpedoes – you remember the name of his solo tour right? – and launched his Torpedos Against Tornados website to raise further funds, his cheque for $25,000 kicking off the fundraising in style.
The head of the town of Tuscaloosa’s tourism agency, Don Staley, confirmed that the star had presented a cheque just before Thanksgiving but had not made a public announcement at the time.
