The pair seem to have a love hate relationship.

Actress, Demi Lovato says that she has a volatile friendship with fellow Disney star, Miley Cyrus.

Radar Online report speaking to Seventeen magazine the 19-year-old star said: "[Miley] and I are strong headed. When we fight it's brutal and we're like, 'We're never going to be friends again!' Then two days later, were like, 'I love you and I miss you!'"

Their "brutal" fights went public in 2008 - after Miley posted a YouTube video that ridiculed Demi and Disney star, Selena Gomez.

Only a year later in 2009 they got into a twitter war following a harsh remark Demi made after Miley posted a photo of pair, with the comment: "Now this is what true friendship looks like. None of that hollywood c***. @ddlovato I miss you :)"

Demi fired back at Miley’s nice comment saying: "Yeah... It's just kind of hard to miss somebody that I don't know anymore."
