Actor, Brad Pitt did not look on great form yesterday, (05.01.12) - after he was pictured limping - using a walking stick for support.

Us Weekly report that the 48-year-old actor - dressed in a black jumpsuit - stepped out in Beverly Hills on Thursday - but would not have been able to without the aid of a cane.

A source told Just Jared, "he tore his MCL" revealing that Brad injured one of four ligaments that stabilizes the knee joint - but the reason behind the 'World War Z' star’s injury is unknown.

Hopefully for Brad he will be back on the mend soon - as knee injury or not he is still expected to walk the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globes on January 15.

The ‘Tree of Life’ actor is nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama alongside A-list actors, George Clooney in ‘The Descendants’, Leonardo DiCaprio in ‘J. Edgar’, Michael Fassbender in ‘Shame’ and Ryan Gosling in ‘The Ides Of March.’
