Hugh Jackman The star's impressive run on Broadway caught the eye of the producers of the new show.
Hugh Jackman may have just finished one record breaking run of shows on Broadway, but he could soon be heading back as producers of a new musical based on the life of illusionist Harry Houdini want him for the lead role.
After impressing with his one man show that came to an end on Sunday after a total gross of $2 million worth of ticket sales in its final week alone, and it looks like the success of the show has caught the eye of the new musical’s producers.
The show is being written by Social Network’s Aaron Sorkin and Wicked’s Stephen Schwartz will be in command of the music according to reports.
