Hugh Jackman’s ten week run on Broadway with his show Back on Broadway has come to an end after a triumphant stint that saw the Aussie actor break records as well as enjoy performing some of his favourite show-tunes.

Jackman sold over $2 million worth of tickets for his shows last week alone, a new record for the highest weekly gross by the Shubert Organisation who own 17 theatres in the famous US district.

Over the length of his run, Jackman’s show has raked in over $14.5 million from tickets alone.

The star has not been on his Twitter account since the show ended, but back in November he tweeted how much he was enjoying the production and meeting some of his fans backstage after each performance.
