Radiohead are shutting down the free download of their latest album.

A blog titled "The End of the Beginning", on the band's Dead Air Space website, the Oxford pioneers announced that, "The download area that is “In Rainbows” will be shutting its doors on the 10th December 2007."

The band added: "A big thank you to everyone who came and downloaded the music. It’s been the most positive thing we’ve done and we hope you shared the experience with others."

In Rainbows will be available on CD/Vinyl from December 31.
