Arctic Monkeys and Radiohead will go head to head at the 2008 South Bank Show arts awards.
Sheffield and Oxford's finest will compete in the Pop category at the prestigious awards ceremony that honours talent across the arts.
The gong will either go to Radiohead's In Rainbows, Arctic Monkeys' Favourite Worst Nightmare or Versatile Heart by folk singer Linda Thompson.
In the film category, Joy Division biopic Control takes on This Is England and Atonement.
The awards are dished out at London's Dorchester Hotel on January 29, 2008.
