Oasis To Release New Single This Month

Oasis are set to release their first ever digital single later this month.
The song, 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down', will be available to download from October 21. It comes out a week before their DVD of the same name hits the shelves.
The single is backed by the live tracks 'The Meaning of Soul' and 'Don't Look Back In Anger' both recorded at their City of Manchester Stadium gig in the summer of 2005.
Xfm DJ and The Enemy's best mate Alex Zane broke an apparent embargo by treating listeners to brief snippets of the track this morning.
Zane originally said he was going to play five seconds of the track, but proceeded to play a full 30 seconds of the opening segment. From what Gigwise has heard, it sounds pretty damn good.
As previously reported, 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' the DVD follows the band on tour in 2005 including their City of Manchester homecoming show. It features all the obligatory extras on top including exclusive interviews with the band.
