While appearing on a Belgian TV show he branded England a "f**king s***hole."

He spoke about "f**king knife crime", the Pope and claimed global warming was "brilliant".

Speaking about being away from home on tour he said he didn't miss much, reports Metro.

He added: "On tour I miss my girlfriend and my little boy and my daughter.

"I miss watching the football, I miss getting a decent cup of tea. That's about it, other than that I don't miss anything.

"You know England is not that f***ing great, as anybody'll tell you. To live in England is a f***ing s***hole, to be honest. Well, look at it, f***ing dump!

"People have this romantic image of England, you know. London is a f***ing dump. It's full of crime, it's full of f***ing tourists. It's traffic, it's pollution. I don't even know why I live here to be honest."

Then seemingly surprised why he'd been asked his opinion he continued: "I'm fascinated as to why people would give a s**t what I think of hip hop or what I think of f**king knife crime or Amy Winehouse. Or what I think of Pete Doherty or f**king Elvis Presley or the Pope or Adolf Hitler, who f**king gives a s**t for what I think?"
