The Verve and Kings Of Leon are to headline Glastonbury this summer alongside Jay-Z, whose appearance was announced last week. Kings of Leon play the Pyramid stage on Fri 27 Jun, Jay-Z appears on Sat 28 Jun and The Verve on Sun 29 Jun.

Organiser Emily Eavis says: "We are thrilled that these acts are headlining. It really looks set to be an amazing year. The Verve are a great Glastonbury band and they are finally doing the headline slot we have been waiting for years. Jay-Z is coming all the way over especially, and he will undoubtedly do an incredible show, we are so honoured to have one of the world's greatest hip-hop artists on the farm. Kings Of Leon are one of the most exciting live bands out there and they have come through the ranks at Glastonbury, from the new bands tent a few years back."

Other acts confirmed include Hot Chip, British Sea Power, Leonard Cohen and Neil Diamond.
