Meat Loaf has warned fans that he may be hanging up his performing boots, after having to finish a concert early due to voice problems.
The rock legend made the statement in front of thousands of fans at his concert at Newcastle's Metro Arena last night.
After singing the first line of 'Paradise By The Dashboard Light', the singer said: "I can no longer continue."
The singer proclaimed: "This is the last show I may ever do in my life."
He said: "I take my coat off and thank you for 30 years", before leaving the stage.
His publicist and record company were unable to comment on whether Meat Loaf will be able to resume his tour, or whether he has quit performing in public.
