Coldplay have signed a deal with US TV network ESPN which will see tracks from new album 'Vida La Vida' used during the broadcaster's coverage of the Euro 2008 tournament that takes place next month.
The broadcaster will use the music on their outputs in the US, Canada, Mexico, India and South America, which should prove to be rather handy free promotion for the album, which comes out in the middle of the tournament.
