Avril Lavigne Gives Fans Free Gig

Avril Lavigne has delighted fans by announcing a free concert for the grand opening of a Best Buy store in her native Canada.

The rocker will appear onstage at Swangard Stadium next month for a free live performance sponsored by the electronics and entertainment chain.

It comes just months before the singer embarks on a tour of North America, slated to begin in March next year.
