Arctic Monkeys Plan To Record New Album In One Weekend

Arctic Monkeys have written their third album and hope to record it in one weekend reports the Daily Star.

The band have been pretty busy touring but found time to pen the new record whenever they had a chance.

Drummer Matt Helders told the Daily Star: "We had a power cut on the bus and while we were parked at the side of the road I got this acoustic guitar out.

"Some people were still in bed but we did this song for about six minutes about Jeremy Kyle. About this lie detector test."

If that inspiration sounds crazy their plans to record it in one weekend are pretty weird too.

Bassist Nick O'Malley added: We're thinking of calling it One Wacky Weekend."
