A short and sweet acoustic song from what can only be described as the most amazing lyricist of the 21st century, Josh Pyke.

Everything he sings about you can visualize. All the images, from the house on the hill, to the fires in the garden and cooling your head on the concrete steps, come to life almost so much so that you can reach out and touch them but not the fire (Obviously that would be a bit dangerous.)

Josh Pyke’s “Middle of the Hill” is anything but a middle of the road track, it’s actually quite magical. A mild satisfying sound, like a breath of fresh air.
