Well it seems as though the new comers, Glaswegian trio The Fratellis have been paying attention to what the current music industry are after, creating a catchy bunch of songs, which the youth of today will buy into and jump around to (I know I kind of want to jump around). There is just one problem – they are so made for today’s music industry that by tomorrow they will simply sound like yesterday and nobody will be giving them a second thought.
The have grasped what the world is looking for with an easy chorus for us all to sing along to though it is so repetitive I haven’t noticed that the song has finished and started from the beginning again – just looking I have listened to it six times – well I’m not annoyed with it yet which is always a good sign!
Baby Fratelli is on the soundtrack to Hot Fuzz (which I hear is amazing but am yet to have seen it for myself). Being the lead song for the film is bound to ensure the track is constantly played on TV and radio for a couple of months – just in an attempt to anoy the hell out of you I reckon.
Though I am convinced this Scottish sensation is unlikely to last too long I still think most people will enjoy this track – for the time being anyway.
You can sing along quite easily.
You can jump around like a loon.
You can kind of fall into a bit of a trance.
But don’t take my word for it – have a listen for yourselves.
