Queens of the Stone Age have just announced a ten date UK tour starting at the end of November. This will coincide with the release of the get down and dirty, grind rock hit of the year ‘Make It Wit Chu’, their second single, which will be out physically on November 26th.
This will be music to the ears of fans in the regions as it will be the band’s first UK tour since 2003 back when they were promoting critically acclaimed album ‘Songs for the Deaf’. They have since played a handful of London shows but this is the first time in over four years that they have hit the road in the UK for a full regional tour.
The new album ‘Era Vulgaris’ was produced by long time friend and cohort of the band Chris Goss out in Joshua Tree, and has been described by lead singer Josh Homme as "dark, hard, and electrical, sort of like a construction worker". ‘Era Vulgaris’ was released in June and charted at #7.
