Kasabian frontman planning to release album with brother
Kasabian The Kasabian frontman has been working on tracks away from the band and would enlist the services of his guitarist brother if he decides to work on a side project.
He said: "I've got a few songs of my own now. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, but would be nice to put something out between Kasabian albums when I get the chance.
"My brother John James is a superb guitarist. Serge [Pizzorno, guitarist in Kasabian] really rates him too. He's f***ing up there. So I know, one day, when I get the time, I'll definitely do an album with my brother, just me and him together making music."
Serge thinks the band's fans would be shocked by the sound of a solo album from the singer.
He said: "Tom's got some beautiful tunes. They're not what you might expect from seeing Tom in Kasabian. He writes really sweet love songs. They sound like late-50s, early-60s pop. A bit like Buddy Holly."
