The Carpels unveil new single
The Carpels They have already been turning some of the right heads. So that's BBC bastion of taste Mark Radcliffe, Sunday Best-man Rob Da Bank, and Q Magazine's Niall Doherty, to name but three.
Plenty more were left reeling after The Carpels' recent performance at The Queen of Hoxton, London's notorious live venue. The outfit appeared at said space earlier this month as part of a showcase featuring acts signed to One Beat Records, the label owned by Jon Brookes, better known as the drummer from The Charlatans, and arguably stole the show. Handshakes is the name of the Birmingham band's forthcoming single, which will be released on August 21st, but if that feels like quite a way from now don't worry, shockingly summer's last month is almost upon us, and we've got the video for you right here. Enjoy.
