Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Enter Shikari were forced to cancel their show at Blackpool Empress Ballroom on Saturday night (6th Feb).

During the band's soundcheck, structural issues with the building came to light, and Health & Safety officers pulled the show.

Suffice to say, everyone in the Enter Shikari camp are “Gutted... It looked and sounded incredible in there, and indeed it would have gone off big-time, were the show to go ahead as planned.”

The band spent four and a half hours sitting and talking with disappointed fans and explaining the situation.

Enter Shikari and their management would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the fans who, though obviously upset, were understanding, plus thank you to the security team for their sterling work under difficult circumstances.

There will be a rescheduled date as soon as possible, although whether this date will happen in Blackpool is still uncertain. It will unfortunately not be at the Empress Ballroom.

Tickets for Blackpool will remain valid for the make-up show, or refunds are available at point of purchase.

The remainder of the tour will, of course, continue as planned.
