Benji Madden The Good Charlotte rocker is a huge fan of the US band, who are famed for their hard-partying ways.
He was in raptures when he saw them on a night out, but was too nervous to go up to them for a chat.
“I hung out w/Kings of Leon lastnite.Ok I might not a been w/them,but I was standin w/them. Ok techinically they might not a knwn I was there,” he wrote on his Twitter page.
Clearly embarrassed about his revelation, Benji later vowed to seize the moment in future. He revealed he wants to achieve more of his personal goals this year, and encouraged his friends and admirers to do the same.
“2 night,think about ur Goal. Not what stnds n ur way,just whats @the finshline&do 1 thing 2 move towards it.Even just thinkin positive!Do it,” he wrote.
