Heroin Pete

Pete Doherty has been charged with possession of heroin following his appearance in court yesterday.
The Babyshambles star was apprehended by police just minutes after being fined for drink driving following an incident in June.
"The 30-year-old from Wiltshire who was arrested in Gloucester yesterday has been charged with possession of heroin and has been bailed to appear at Gloucester Magistrates Court in January 2010", confirmed a spokesperson.
Meanwhile, Doherty's band have announced plans to play an impromptu gig at the Dirty South venue in Lewisham this evening.
